The whole thing! Going from no coding experience — as a seller and then a higher-level business partner on Enablement — to being in the weeds as an administrator, who can create data mapping strategies and independently launch an Answers experience, has been a ride.
It's definitely broadened my view of what the company is capable of — especially when it comes to our Strategic Alliance Partners. GSIs and Agencies have long been waiting for product enablement and the ability to build businesses and solutions around Yext. Now I can see that path clearly and it helps me be more strategic within Yext.
It's not just learning the skills and launching experiences. Being an administrator is an ongoing learning experience. With each client and use case, you can learn new data mapping strategies, coding options, and design best practices.
Lol besides getting a client's data file? After a while, configuring the data mappings of the Answers experience becomes pretty straight forward — what's always the most difficult are the scss and css variables both in Answers and in Pages. You can spend hours trying to get something to render how you want it to.
